How’s your ministry?
If you follow me on twitter or instagram…you would have seen our announcement. We have a baby (born on friday) and the pregnancy is what I’ve been trying to hide all these months! But me and my big nose sha…sigh. I never thought I would be one of those people that would get married and bam….9 months later pikin don show.
We had fancy ideas that we would spend at least the first few years of our marriage forming babe and guy (yimu) until I started noticing strange things and feelings-we didn’t do our homework. Don’t bother counting…it’s about 43 weeks since we got married-and some people without chill have been asking if I was pregnant before the wedding…mba nu. I wasn’t.
This baby is a gift-I’ve been staring at him since and I cannot believe I am someone’s mommy! He’s perfect! *Twerks*….ouch! I can’t twerk…body still dey pain me. Who do you think he looks like?
For those of you who wanted to unlock my secret before it was due by leaving comments about you spotting me around with big belle, your comments will now be published. LOL. No more hide and seek.

Buh I knew you were preggy, your pictures gave you away and there was a time you were sick and your mom came over to visit, I knew a bun was baking in the oven. To be honest,I think pregnancy is a very personal journey. Different strokes for different folks. Some people may feel okay making everyday a photoshoot day heck i've followed a couple of people on IG that show us the PT strip with the double lines,everyday in between till the baby comes and even beyond. Some others like me,well…I really can't be bothered.Like why?what am I announcing pregnancy for?E dey hide before?The hubs and I told our close friends and family and they had us in our prayers.This is not to say for example that if someone pointed out my expanding nose I'll deny that I'm pregnant or something.I may just choose to ignore the question,answer it or simply ask you to wait and see.Lol!
But with our darling Sisi (oops Mama) Yemmie,I kinda understand why there was pressure to make a 'formal social media announcement' of the belle.Like you rightly said,she's basically documented and shared the whole journey up until now with thousands of fans…so to just lock up like that…oh well.
