LIFE IN LAGOS : SISI WEEKLY #21

The struggle is real guys! This video took about 6 hours upload! What internet provider do you use if you live in Lagos?
I hope you enjoy today’s vlog: I started Tito on baby food and it has not been easy especially as the guy no gree open mouth. When Grandma gave him Ikokore he opened mouth and was gulping it…even crying for more. True Ijebu boy.

I was given some make up products from BlackUp cosmetics and the packaging looks so good, I’ve been using the lipstick and gloss, and foundation, can’t wait to show it to you soon!

  1. Nice vlog. Please don't ever apply that Black On make up foundation. It made you look like a terracotta, not a great look. Please stick to your usual.

  2. Titobi is sooooo cute!… Sisi, i like your decisions on the whole weightloss thing. I had one wellness pie once in the east, abegnitb wasn't nice for me, Like they say, if no be meat pie, e no be meat pie.Lols reducing your portion is a huge step, you can even change your serving nplate to a much smaller one. Can't wait to see your review on the blackup items you got. Your makeup game is tight sha. More grace dear, regards to your family. .

  3. LOOOL at the food part.

Its been 5months since I had my baby and I weigh 3kg more than what I weighed before I had my little one.

I stiil eat carbs, I just eat in smaller portions but I increased my protein and veggie intake. I also don't drink fizzy drinks (neve did before pregnancy anyway). I stick to water (1litre or more a day) and fresh juices – once in a while I drink malt if I feel like a cheat day.

I also switched to using coconut oil or olive oil for cooking and I only eat brown bread

I also exercise for 30mins 6 days a week. If you check on YouTube, you'll find loads of home work out videos.

And none of this has affected my breast milk production – Ive been feeding my baby exclusively since he was born so don't worry about that.

  4. Amina, i applaud you for making a sinificant change. Portion control, balance, exercise, less sugar and salt are all important. If snacking is a problem, then try and have to hand things like, a medley of nuts, fruits like water melon or plantain chips… I drink close to 2 litres of water a day, this doesn't include other fluids like tea, milk and those from watery fruit like water melon and other fruits which make up for lack of fluids intake. They say we should drink 3 litres a day or 6-8 glasses.

  5. Quick question
Please help ask your friend Eyi where she got the mat from, need it for my 6mth old.

Also nice vlog. And I think you need a smaller spoon for Titobi (love his name)
Good luck with the solids….. Not a fun phase at all.

  6. Sisiyemmie introducing solids is not an easy process. He'll probably take a couple of spoonfulls until he gets used to – just mash half of a ripe banana. Love your blog!

  7. I soo loove your videos sisiyemmie. I always watch with my 3months old baby and when he sees Titobi he goes on a chatter like titobi should come off the screen to see him…its fun to watch.
I see you have started weaning Titobi, why not try some mashed/pureed fruits and vegetables for him too? e.g mashed/pureed banana or apple etc…so he can get uses to fruits and vegetables
Well done on being soooo real.
    x
    Jackie
