First of all…happy new month!It’s the 1st of Dember and let me be the first to wish you a Merry Christmas…it’s the most wonderful time of the yearrrrrrrrrrrrrrr! We shall all see the end of this year in joy, peace and abundance – anybody wey say your water nor go boil, e own nor go hot!If there’s something you’re waiting for just know that the rest of December is still more than enough time for God to do miracles: Just B E L I E V E! The highlight of my Saturday was discovering this Starch and Banga joint close to Ikeja City Mall! It’s close to that Daystar road, I don’t know what it’s called but na there I sleep Saturday and Sunday. They do delicious starch, banga and catfish…humongous catfish! Why won’t I sleep there! LOL.
On Saturday also Bobo and I went for our friend Freeman’s wedding, it was fun! I wish them all the best of married life! We met up with a lot of people from IUO (mostly Bobo’s friends) and it was lovely to catch up. I think weddings are the best places to meet new people and reconnect with old friends. Have you ever crashed a wedding before? I think I crashed one on Saturday because I went to two weddings. I had delicious cocktails there … 😀

Sunday….hmmm…*shines teeth* Went to the Xmas Shut Down Fair, they didn’t let me rest on twitter and kept hyping it, so since it was close by I kuku went to see what the whole thing was about…not much to be honest. Mostly kids stuff and stuff I wasn’t interested in, probably about 10 vendors too…but I did buy essential oils to add beautiful fragrance to the house, Bobo picked a lemon grass scent…can’t wait to try it.
Earlier on Sunday we went to Kobis and I happened by a lady, she was asking about my hair. Yulx…this my beauriffu hair from Mercy Hair Extensions. See the review
here. We got talking and then she dashed me her album…her name is
Efe Nathan…never heard of her before so I told Bobo to play the CD as we were driving and boy! I was so impressed! Shuoooo. I even had goose bumps! It’s a gospel album and her voice is strong…I love it. Been on replay till now…..look for the album “
Broken” by Efe Nathan…seriously!
Now to the fun part of yesterday….the ELOY Awards!!! Chai…it held at Intercontinental Hotel and I didn’t want to go but I mustered energy to do so. I went with Bobo and it was a nice event…the part that shocked me was when I won the Award for Blogger Of The Year!I never hessperrrred it! I was so unprepared, I had to look for my koi-koi shoe to collect the award, I had no speech ready and I cannot remember what I said on that stage but I’ll say what I think I should have said.
I lovessssss you all! You voted for me and made it happen! Thank you for your readership and support, you’re the most amazing group of online friends anyone could ever ask for. Thank you for always leaving nice constructive comments and I wish we could have a Sisi Yemmie end of Year Party! I go soon hammer in Jesus name so that time is coming. Mwaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
