Hi!!! Welcome to the awesome month of December; you’re alive, you made it!!! Whoppee! Just like that we are here; so many things have happened in the past 11 months, most of which I’m grateful for. I love this month specially because it closes a chapter and ushers in another…  but more importantly you don buy your Christmas cloth?

Ehen, the first to leave a comment wins airtime recharge , plus another lucky person wins ticket to an event I will be posting in the next few hours! Please leave a comment + your email!

Friday; I went shopping at Shoprite in the evening oh, I’ve missed that place, didn’t you notice I haven’t mentioned it in a while? LOL. This time I had to go buy some cereals and cooking spices plus just being in a mall relaxes me, “shopaholic syndrome”…but something funny happened to me that evening that inspired another GISTDOTCOM post, it will be up this week. Read my previous ones HERE .See ehn, aiye awon Lagosians ti su mi!
Saturday: You people didn’t even ask me “Sisi don’t you do chores at home? Don’t you have laundry? Don’t you cook anymore? LOL. This weekend was set aside for that: on Saturday I did some house cleaning and then I proceeded to the Salon to revive my natural hair. The hair was, de-tangled, washed, deep conditioned, combed, steamed, and then finally straightened! Brethren, prai, prai, praise Maaaaster Jesus! My hair don reach 1 packing, I can now pull it together in a ponytail, a very short one sha! *Started from the bottom now we’re here! LOL. You don’t think this is testimony enough? Everybody with where dey pain dem oh.  I spent most of my day in the salon: I wanted to attend NITC but by the time I finished  I was already running late for one other appointment I had, it had to do with work.
Sunday: I woke up and I continued my chores from where I left off on Saturday and before I knew it I was late for church, sigh…I still went anyways, and one thing the pastor said got stuck in my head 1. Don’t come to church late. 2. December is the month of rest so this month is for rest *places feet on desk and stretches. 3. This week is for fasting!!! Yeepa! Thank God I never chop that morning, I quickly converted it to fasting, don’t roll your eyes at me like you’ve never done it.
After Church I rushed home to film a recipe, what’s it going to be? Find out during the week! It was really short and simple. After cooking I didn’t eat oh, I carried myself to Intercontinental Hotel, in V.I. That hotel is massive, I was just too scared while I was there, we were meant to have lunch there but were told there’s a waiting period of maybe 45 minutes, I’m hungry: ain’t nobody got time for that! *snaps finger and rolls neck. We quickly ported to Radisson Blu and I must say I was not disappointed with their buffet, I enjoyed it, lick plate, kon do takeaway sef! Look out for the review later on. Brethren, that’s what I did with my weekend oh, tell me about yours!
As this is a new month let me pray for and with you, prayer changes things! May you live all the days of your life, when you go out may you find favor, whatever you touch will be successful, wherever you go people will welcome you. 1. Hi Sisi Yemmie,
u said u were fasting at thesame tym u r saying u went to eat again at radisson blu, or is it half day fast ne? Confused

  2. Where did you get such tlc for your natural hair – looks like they really pampered the hair? Was it at a natural hair salon? I am often stuck with doing my deep conditioning and washing by myself at home to avoid unnecessary talk at the salons like "aunty, this your hair, you no go retouch am?". All I do at the salons is to braid, weaving, or install a weave. There is only one natural hair salon in my city and it's too far and inconvenient for me to drive all the way there just to get the hair done.

I also love shopping and I am a BIG believer in "Retail Therapy". It really truly works.

Then the food looks divine. Definitely must attend one of these buffets you write about when I'm in Lagos for the Christmas season.

Just voted for you. Hope you win!

  3. Yay for your hair! Girl, I am tired of talking about food on this blog. Whish kin nonsense temptation be dis one? Well, I already have people who are owing me food when I get to Naija and I intend to torment everyone of you.

Meanwhile, do you go out and about with your DSL-R?

  4. I've started doing my house chores, its not all play play for me. Straightening hair is a yes, just once in a while. Once you wash the hair it reverts, today my hair has already reverted without washing sef
