In a moment of anger people can say things they probably can never carry out but errrr…like they say, you don’t want to wait to find out right? I was going through blogs over the weekend and came across this post on LIB: I found some of the answers very interesting and I wondered what kind of advice I would give such a person…what advice would you give? Does verbal abuse lead to battering?
This reminds me of the questions we had to work through when I attended the Voices 4 Change Workshop of Gender Roles and Masculinity.
Hey Sis Yemmie! Great blog, first of all! I'm loving it already.
I personally believe verbal abuse can even be ten times worse than battery, whether it leads to it or not.
I agree 100% with the second comment… there is no justifiable reason why a man should lose his temper and take it out on a woman. The second a woman sees signs of her bf/husband having serious anger issues, she probably should reconsider the entire relationship in my opinion.
I think some people are just like that…they say things they cant do out of annoyance, whereas some actually mean it…But none of it is ok sha…
