MONDAY CHIT-CHAT: MOVIE NIGHT, CUDDLING AND BUKA TINZ!

On Friday evening I went to The Palms Lekki to see a movie with my friend Simi, we saw 12 Years A Slave and boy oh boy…that movie moved me to tears! I can definitely see why Lupita is suddenly a sweetheart: Chiwetel Ejiofor is a super super actor!!! Chop knuckle my broda! That film made  me realise say e don tay wey black people dey suffer…even till now there’s modern day slavery.  Check yourself.

Before the movie I told Simi that I needed to eat dinner, this babe took me to Double4, when I reach there I didn’t see Eba, Amala…you know, dat main tin on the list. Instead of me to chop food wey rice be the side dish for like 4000 naira that will not belleful me, I will rather go chop buffet for 6000 naira at FourPoints… and I did! Money cannot weist! I ran into my sweetie Tosyn Bucknor and her French friend…I also met the comedian Julius Agwu..he’s hilarious!…Later on while buying ColdStone Icecream I saw Adaku of ThirdWorldProfashional, check out her blog HERE.  Have you tried ColdStone’s Red velvet? Ok, after filming the videos I had to go to surulere! All by myself! I have never been there and I think I asked like 20 people for directions along the way…guess why I was going there? To eat Amala with Simi at that renowned Olaiya joint. Ha ha ha. One guy gave me directions that landed me in one part of surulere that I off my earring because that place was rough…I don’t know how I reached ojuelegba…E ma gba mi…all because of Olaiya Amala. When I finally reach there I bought Amala, fufu (yeah I like to mix it) ewedu, goat meat, kpomo, and croaker fish. Please don’t judge me. I still bought “takeaway” rice, moin-moin, dodo, fish, kpomo and beef. Yummy sturvs! Brethren…see queue na… Have you been to that Olaiya Buka?

Sunday was thanksgiving in Church, Tope Alabi ministered…Oh…that woman is blessed!!! At one point we were singing “my hands are blessed with the blessings of the Lord, anything I touch surely must be blessed”...you know the song ba? Sister Tope kon remix am to “My body is blessed, with the blessings of the Lord, anyone I cuddle …” cu kini? People burst out laughing. She kon say make we cuddle the person beside us….ha! Sister in the Lord….I’m glad my neighbour was a girl, a fi cuddle ni.
