Friday night was solo…I was ecstatic that 3rd mainland bridge was quite free on Friday evening… quite free that I got home before 6:30…that hardly happens. Lately – I usually get home between 7:30 -10:30 pm. Sigh… I got home and realised, whoop, I have the house to myself so I off top, off pant, off bra… you don’t run around naked when you’re home alone? Well…. Me neither. LOL
While prancing around I realized hey! I need asun, or nkwobi, or barbecued fish, I settled on asun, put clothes back on and drove to get some, I got 750 naira’s worth . What would go best with this asun I thought…hmmmm Malta Guinness! So I pulled over to get one, but I got confused, they had Fan ice ice cream, and zobo, decisions, decisions, decisions! However, the attendant made it easy for me by asking…” madam you want the Sugar free Malta Guinness”?
There is a Sugar-free version? In my mind I was dieting. I quickly grabbed it and raced to the cashier…everything I bought was 210 naira so I gave her 250, however she didn’t have 10 naira change and she ended up dashing me 10 naira. Thank you Tuga Mart. That’s a new one, everywhere I go people try to keep my change. That asun and Malta Guinness went down very well together… that’s all I remember before I fell asleep on the couch.

On Saturday morning I received a come-chop invitation from Semilore’s mom, she promised Pancakes and sandwiches…how could I say no? LOL. I was at her’s bright and early… she makes the best pancakes: sometimes she adds corned beef or hot dogs but there’s always pepper, I can’t eat pancakes without pepper.Yoruba girl tinz… I don’t know what was in that pancake but I dozed off shortly after on her couch with Semilore pinching my nose or pulling my hair most of the time, I must have been snoring! LOL. When I awoke from my slumber I took out the chunky braids and washed my hair.
We later on decided to go to Ikeja Mall… I met so many people! Seriously! You guys keep making me feel like one kain celebrity sha… It was nice to meet all of you! After ICM,we kon go Dominos, the new one on Toyin Street Ikeja, Have you been there? We had some pizza and Ice cream… it was really, really good! Ijekuje…
On Sunday, I went to church and the topic was centered on us not having enough time, you think you have all the time in the world but you never know, you could drop dead tomorrow…do all you can now, treat each day like your last. Oh boy…Church was cold, lol, It was as if Pastor said they should go and start preparing their funerals. I sure say people dey mutter “I reject it” under their breath. I got the message though, it was timely, sometimes we need to be reminded that we won’t be here forever…
Later on I went with my friend Yotan to Ikeja City Mall again (ICM na the only place I know, lol) to meet up with Atilola and Otoxic (bloggers): Atilola is an author & natural hair blogger and she manufactures natural hair products too. Read her blog -> HERE. Otoxic is such a nice and generous guy, so creative too!… Read his blog ->HERE. We had a good time making plans and soon we will give you guys the juicy details.
