My daughter, TANI marked her one year birthday a few days back and it was such an exciting time for our family and friends. I know they say that throwing a party for a one year old is a “waste of money/effort because the child will never remember” but I beg to differ. I celebrate for many reasons ; not just because I love hosting and throwing a fab party, also because I am grateful to God. The process of birthing my children is something I have documented because I birth them in a lot of pain – I’m a 3 time C-section mom, so while it is my daughters 1st party, it is a celebration of God preserving my life.
