SISIYEMMIE’S SOUTH AFRICAN TOUR – JOHANNESBURG JOURNAL – DAY 1

I know, I know!!! I have been away from the blog…the truth is I have been having the time of my life in South Africa. Dem really gbadun me gaaaan for this place oh, so much so that my SA name is “Lerato”. Does it suit me? LOL I’m still in SA but the reason I couldn’t give an update earlier was because my laptop has started behaving like ogbanje again….I need to do something about it.

So on my last trip I went to Durban, and then some of you mentioned that if I’ve not gone to Jo’burg or Cape Town that I never start…hence the Part II of my SA Tour to explore the beautiful sceneries and culture of the country. I love this place.

Like the last time, I’ll give daily updates (even though I am a bit behind now). We arrived SA on the 18th of October, we left 17th by 10:00pm and we were at O.R Tambo International Airport Johannesburg after a 5 hour flight. It was a sweet and short flight via South African Airways. I went top celebrities and media personalities : Omalicha of Rhythm FM, AY Makun (Comedian), Praiz, Olorisupergal, Liz Osho, Noble Igwe, Dami Elebe Beat FM, Temi Balogun of Cool FM, Kelehi Amadi Obi, Abdulhi Mohammed, Jennifer Awoh, Stella Aghedo,Ighorodge Okiemute (MTN Project Fame winner), Idia Aisen, Okoka Dhanuska from Nigeria. Juliet Ibrahim, Jackie Appiah, Ameyaw Debrah, MamaVi, Hloni Pitso,  from Ghana. See the company i’m in?

We where transferred to The Maslow
hotel where we had breakfast and had time to relax at their Wayfarer Lounge
to wear off jet lag before departing to Sun-City.

The drive to Sun-City
was a beautiful experience as we got to view the amazing beauty of
South Africa.

Sun-City is
internationally recognized for its superb resort offering of hotels,
attractions, and world class events. Sun-city is about 2 hours’ drive from
Johannesburg and it provides plenty to see and do in a malaria free landscape. We arrived at Sun-city and where conveyed to The Cascades hotel, a five
star hotel that is surrounded by water falls. It was truly beautiful!I had the most beautiful experience there which I cannot wait to tell you about tomorrow! (birthday tinz)

Later we checked into our various rooms and then after transferred to The Palace of
the lost City where we had lunch by the pool side. This place is where the movie Blended was shot….go and watch that movie so you can see this place in all it’s glory! E be like film even though I was there live and direct.

After lunch and relaxing, we went on a game drive at the Pilanesberg National Park
where they got to see male lions, rhinoceros and elephants. It was fun to
experience this as the animals where in their natural habitat and the guests
got to see them up close.
Day 2 of this trip is when the Ghen-ghen things started to happen! You’ve seen a bit of it on my snapchat (sisiyemmie) and my instagram (sisi_yemmie), if you haven’t seen it, why are you not following me?
