MONDAY CHIT-CHAT: A LITTLE BIT OF EVERYTHING!

My people how body? Hope you had an awesome weekend? I did! I had a busy Saturday but a restful Sunday which works very well for me. The first person to leave a comment + email address wins airtime recharge! Although I know some of you are not here for just recharge card.

I want to acknowledge all my readers because you people are the most wonderful and understanding and loving set of people ever liveth! Seriously!!! I enjoy meeting you when I’m going about and if for some reason I act awkward when you see me face to face it is because I’m shy *stares at toes*, ..regardless of how I react you are still lovely! I love your comments and your friendship! One day like I said before, we shall have a big parry.

I was featured on two blogs this weekend *shines teeth* . The first on was a post on How To Be A Mega Superstar Blogger Like Sisi Yemmie”…why won’t my head burst? Doro na diva, doro na blogger, follow the ladder, doro get liver, she nor dey taya *wiggles bombom* Doro mega, doro super, doro star! LOL. Thank you Tope! The second blog I was featured on was Ladybants and it was interview style so if you’re curious to know anything about me…then please read! There’s even a throwback picture of Bobo and I there. We miss Bobo don’t we??? Thank you so much Oke! Mwah!

Saturday was my friend Lola’s wedding- I call her shorty and so happy she’s married now. I love weddings : Weddings are great places to meet old friends; you get to eat and eat and eat; you get to dance. I think I should do a different post on why I love weddings! I loved the band- I didn’t get the name but it was led by a lady called Tiwa-she’s good! The MC was Oluwatosin (Extreme Entertainment)- he was funny. He made a joke about how Nigerian artistes write the lyrics of their songs e.g Nogede by Timaya ft TerryG…how dem write the song, especially the chorus?

Saturday was AMVCA’s; una watch am? I watched through twitter commentaries. See if you’re not on twitter, I tell you that you are missing out LOL. My favourite part of the AMVCA’s was the red carpet…there are 3 people I did not understand what they were wearing-not that what they wore was bad oh. I just did not understand it. E.g

Susan Peters because it is hot in Nigeria and I don’t know how she coped all evening.

Denrele: To be honest this his outfit is normal and expected, I would have been disappointed otherwise

Ini Edo because she set herself up for firing squad. How did she think it was a good idea to wear the same epic dress Lupita wore?

Momsy was around this weekend so we spent a bit of yesterday making kpekere, what you aje butters know as plantain chips. I’ll upload a video on how to prepare it this week; very simple I promise!
