My heart is doing kpim kpim kpim because of the election this weekend. Let it just come and go peacefully. Anyways, I’m stocking up on diesel, fuel and food in case gbege happen, me I will just be cozy in my bed. By the way, I think Friday should be declared public holiday- e go make sense. Just out of curiosity; who are you voting for and why?
I have awesome news to share-wait till you read to the end! Ehen, back to my weekend, I was invited to the launch of Elizabeth Arden in Nigeria (about time)…plus I believe all these other brands should be in Nigeria by now too because na we be their main market. I went to the event with my friend sister B of the Lord and it was a nice event, got to meet some bloggers I’ve not seen in a while, networked and all of that but most of all I made sure I tasted every canape they had to offer…well except for one bread and tomatoes one like that-me I nor dey chop raw food.

Ok, I love this couple, Titi and Oscar Oyinsan- I sat in a corner observing them at the event. I listen to Titi once in a while on the radio-she presents on Inspiration FM. Her husband too is in the entertainment industry but I knew about them from seeing their wedding photos online…I awwwwd and awwwwd especially when they had twins! So you see, I’ve been a fan one kind. I like how Oscar sees this flower, think it’s pretty and believes it should adorn his wife…it’s great for men to be playful with their wives. Not every time serious and composed.
I always remember these quotes from an interview they had in 2013:
Oscar: She is very stubborn, which could be a plus if harnessed properly. My wife is like a V12 engine, which if you set the engine towards a wall and say ‘ram that wall’, it is the same energy she would use to ram that wall that she would use to give you headache if you don’t give her what she wants.
Titi: According to my mum, and she tells me this all the time, ‘Leke is so romantic.’ This is because he could come home with a piece of cake or something pretty in a pink box.

After the event Biodun and I stopped to grab a bite-I had enough small chops at the event oh but I just wanted to make sure my belle gauge before heading home. A review of this restaurant will be coming soon 🙂
