Hello everyone! How body na? How was your weekend? Mine was so relaxing…I was like Garfield, eating and sleeping and being 100% lazy. Ehen! Speaking of Valentine’s day…our day has been given back to us but I still find the whole election postponement annoying. Here’s why: 14th Feb 2015 was the most perfect Saturday for weddings and INEC ruined it for Nigerians…now they’ve cancelled at such short notice, how are couples going to bring their wedding forward now? They just wasted that day for us. Mtchew.
That’s the only reason I’m upset. I don’t know why people are “para-ing” over the postponement of the election…don’t worry, come March you will still vote and who is meant to win will win. Cunny man die, cunny man bury am. If the military like make dem use 100 years to prepare, election go still happen. Don’t mind them you hear?
Anyway’s back to the Valentine issue…what do you have planned now that the day is free for us? I may be spending mine alone but I would like red velvet cakes from Cookiejar…they have the yummiest red velvet cake ever! I also want electricity 24/7 that day so I can chill and watch all my Yoruba movies on DSTV with AC instead of going out and seeing all these lovey-dovey couples kilzing (yes, I’m jealousing already). Daaazaaal I want!
But I have something for you…especially if you and your bobo are in Lagos, and you need a romantic weekend at Four Points by Sheraton inclusive of breakfast and dinner…yes! During the week I went to this supermarket close to my house and I heard Lara George playing on their sound system, so I asked if they had it for sale because the song was so sweet- it was a medley of praise. Naim dem say dem no get, I kon ask them why? “this is not the first time you’re playing nice music and you always don’t have it for sale, then why are you playing it?” LOL. Anyways I went hunting for it and I discovered Lara George actually has a praise medley album! I have been playing it non-stop since I bought it-she sings like an angel.
Again on songs, who has heard that Ambode’s Gbabe song? The one some of these our artistes came together to sing? The song is so sweet and catchy..I actually searched for it and downloaded it…love the song even though I feel Uncle Ambode is such a poser (just look at all his campaign posters)
