MONDAY CHIT-CHAT : ARE YOU READY?

Good Morning my dears (my dears?! pdvbtrehjsbnm86 like an old lady!)…how was your weekend? Hope you’re doing alright? Did you get up to anything this weekend? Today’s MCC is going to be jete by jete. Not every time turn up, sometimes leave it there and think about your life, where you’re going.

Before I forget, I have two giveaways today: 1 The first to leave a comment + email address wins airtime recharge. 2. See the post that comes after this HERE (hint: it’s for brides to be!). I had some fun activities this weekend, but make I shelve am for now. You’ll still see it later.

This past week I was reading a book by Adunni Badmus and it was titled Absolutely Enough, don’t worry a review and giveaway will be coming soon: it’s such a great read. The part that resonated with me when I was reading was about leaving a legacy and allowing yourself to be who you are, and who you are is absolutely enough. You don’t have to be anybody else…who you are is enough! There’s more but wait for the review 😀

I was really sad when I heard of Dr Myles Munroe’s passing this morning, and to make it even more tragic he died with his wife and daughter in a plane crash. Fear grip me. I mean, he’s such a powerful man of God and if I was in that plane with them, I would have been so confident that such a tragedy wouldn’t occur because of the kain people wey dey inside, but I’m wrong. Men of God die, good people die, family members die, it is inevitable. It can happen anywhere to anybody and at anytime…
Today’s post is dedicated to his memory and that of his wife and daughter as well as everyone on board that flight. His life was very fulfilling and impacting and if you’ve not read anything from Myles Munroe, you should! I called him Mr. Potential…I read a lot of his books on potential in my teenage years.  If you’re not living your life without purpose, it’s best to start now! You only have this one 🙂
“The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without a purpose.” Myles Munroe

Ps. Please just take 2 minutes to vote for me at the ELOY Awards…it will soon end oh! All you need to do is 1 or 3 listed below:
I wish you all a blessed week, look out for the goodies this week!

  1. I have heard a bit about this Man of God, but never read any of his books. "The greatest tragedy in life is not death, but a life without purpose" This quote says it all. Whats the point of being alive and not living? If you have found yourself and your purpose, this would make much sense. That said, God is the Ultimate planner, He is ever knowing. Only He knows why they are gone so soon. But in all we must give thanks you know? May their souls rest in perfect peace. Amen. kindly check out my weight loss and wellness blog: http://www.theshapecube.blogspot.com
