Good Morning my beautiful blog family! How are you doing??? I’m very very well! Yesterday was my birthday! Wooooohoooo! I’ve been making noise about this birthday sinceeeee and confused about what I was going to do: I had so many ideas but in the end, I believe God’s will prevailed! LOL. Before I continue…for those who are new, the 1st to leave a meaningful comment wins airtime recharge from me!
Ehen, let me continue my story. So story story, I had plans for Saturday and Sunday, plans that HAD to happen in Lagos, but on Friday I got a call that I had to be in PHC…LOL. I quickly carried my bag and off I went. I got to spend my birthday with my baba and iya oko, meaning, my parents-in-law, Bobo was there too. It was a very lovely experience.
At the airport I came across this coffee shop…I never knew it existed and I found the ambiance really relaxing. I remember asking the lady what Umutu meant, but now I’ve forgotten. LOL. I think it means errrrmmm …oh, I’ve forgotten!…have you been to this spot? They had hot cchocolates coffee, smoothies, light snacks e.t.c.
On Sunday we struggled finding a place to go to…If it was Lagos, one time! I would have found a nice spot but PHC was not so. I was busy comparing and contrasting and Bobo had to tell me that it is enough. In his words, “PHC is not Lagos, just the way Warri is not PHC”…lol…meaning PHC is better than Warri? I nor gree! Please feel free to argue with me.
We finally went to this Chinese place : Eastern Gardens…I asked online and I heard it was the best Chinese place when it came to food and another spot, Asia Town was the best in terms of ambiance…shebi its not ambiance I go chop? We settled for Eastern Garden. My cousin Toyin and his lovely wife joined us and we did have a lovely time sha. But Eastern Gardens….you people are falling hand oh…décor, toilet, was just bleeeeeh. Food was ok. Just ok. So says Sisi the Lagos chic. LOL. My dear PHC folks, what do you do and where do you go for fun?

You see, my day was awesome because I spent it with my new family…The past 1 year has been amazing, the experience unbelievable and I am really looking forward to this new phase, this new age in my life. I asked people of Instagram to guess how old I am now….can you guess?
Thank you all for your wonderful messages, in my emails, twitter, facebook, bb and those who called. You all are very sweet and I felt really loved ESPECIALLY when Esther(Esther150 on youtube) sent me this customised birthday song…this girl has a fabulous voice! It give me goosebumps every time…I’ve never met her but the day I do, she will be singing all through! Riwostic sang for me too oh, I’m still finding a way to embed it here. Thanks everyone! Listen
This morning I’m back to Lagos and to work…I’m very tired but I’ll wait till I get home before catching some sleep. My camera lens was behaving like an ogbanje during this trip…I struggled to get decent photos and after a while I just gave up and lived in the moment.
