My Saturday I spent in that Balogun market hustling, kai. Soon this everyday market runs will be over. I enjoy going to the market to shop randomly not with a purpose…you get? LOL. Shout out to my friend Yotan who trekked the whole of that market with me for over 4 hours, under the scorching sun. Mwaaah! Did you watch Nigeria vs Bosnia on Saturday evening? I couldn’t because I was so tired, I’m glad we’re still in the running for the world cup…just imagine if Nigeria wins…imagine…
Sunday was the highlight of my weekend. I went to Church and for the first time in a long while my brain was not thinking of cake/asoebi/photographer and all the other wedding things I’ve been consumed with lately. I switched off. On my way home I was craving asun again from The Place, by the time I got there the crave included prawns, see my yummy plate.

Later on I went to see my friend Tolani cos it was her birthday and she was having a little do #TurnUp! Y’all know I love yellow. Look at the birthday girl: she’s such a doll! I had fun!

That’s all I did this weekend oh, nothing much. I learnt a lesson this weekend sha, more than one lesson in fact. Never ignore your gut feeling, don’t beat yourself up over any situation you can’t change and if you don’t succeed at one thing, try another!
