Ehen, on
Friday morning, we all packed ourselves in a car and went on a road trip to
warri. I love road trips because of the places I love to stop to eat.  My mom told us of this Banga Soup in Ore so I
was just swallowing spit till I reach there and I was not disappointed. Banga
Soup, Catfish
and pounded yam (because there was no starch), on the return trip there was starch and I couldn’t be happier!

Baddest Banga joint in ore
Banga and Starch of life!!!

Warri don change oh: theres a huge shopping mall being built, BRT routes being constructed, they even have a Cinema! So many changes and improvements, I can’t wait to see what it would be like in the  next 3 years. I was so excited to
met my nieces when we got to warri. Yes, I have two now, Riwostic is a big sister
and I met my little weenie cutie niece for the first time… that girl is so cute and cuddly, I kept carrying her every time.

After
stopping by at Riwo’s house we went for the first part of the ministry moving, in
my previous post I shared photos of my friend Jemie’s pre wedding shoot and
that’s why we went to Warri. She’s Itsekiri so it was an Itsekiri/Yoruba
Wedding. It was so much fun!!!

I
have an In-Law of life! After the traditional wedding, Riwo’’s dad took us
to this joint like that for that Airport road, chaiiiiii! Na point and kill oh. We chopped the
most spciest, sweetest, deliciousest bbq cat fish ever!!!! Then after that we
devoured some roasted yam, palm oil and peppersoup. See ehn…that food was
amazeballs!!! My mind is still in warri. Abi make I relocate? They have good food and power is almost constant, unlike my area in Lagos, power is luxury.

On
Saturday was the ghen-ghen day. The wedding went well and I thank God for
that, I can’t belive Yotan is now married!!!! The ministry is now in the permanent site. WOW!!! I met some of my  friends that I haven’t seen in a while there, that was nice. Enjoy some of the photos: Ps. I tied this gele myself, make I nor lie, I tied it like 8 times before I got it right, by then I was just sweating like Christmas goat. It was so frustrating…but I must perfect my gele skills before marriage oh.

On Saturday evening my sister made a lovely dish of pasta and bbq chicken, see when, we rushed the food before we remembered we were supposed to take pictures. My sister and her husband are such fantastic hosts because we all had a nice time, good food + great company! Back in Lagos now and the usual…sigh.
I’m still praying and thinking about the Chibok Girls, they need to come back home. I don’t know what’s going on anymore: this is actually traumatising. #BringBackOurGirls That’s what I’m looking forward to.

Pss. My blog neighbor is giving away a lovely bag, click HERE to see how you can win it!
Have a fabulous week!!!
