MONDAY CHIT CHAT: MY DREAM CAME TRUE + DOUBLE WINS!

Good Morning my people how body? Hope you had an epic weekend like I did???? I am soooo excited!!! This weekend was activity packed but I did try to narrow it down to the most important ones. I’m curious, I want to know what you did over the weekend. Don’t forget that the first to leave a comment + email address wins airtime recharge! Ok, the first and second person gets to win! I’m feeling generous this morning.

Friday evening I spent in my house chilling and planing my notes for work, nothing much, seeing as I had already gone to Jevinik earlier in the morning to download their pounded yam and native soup: I think I’m becoming addicted, still no one has volunteered to teach me… do you have a recipe for Native soup?

On Saturday I did my usual filming for my Youtube Channel and thank God it was environmental saturday, one thing that was baffling was that there was power all through! That is something wey I never see in a loooong time. Later on, Simi Bobo and I went to the WED Expo to get details of vendors for our individual purposes, it was fun! If only we knew what Sunday had in store for us…oh boy!

After WED Expo we had to go to Bangkok Restaurant for Simi’s husband birthday-do, I told you guys I love Bangkok, their Thai food is so delicious! Nom, nom, nom. Have you seen the review I did for Bangkok Restaurant? Click to read HERE.

Sunday was the finale of My Big Nigerian Wedding and it was a game show! Bobo and I didn’t know what kind of game it would be and I was sooooooo nervous, you should have seen me shitting bricks! We met the other couples and we all had a laugh, we all discussed about our voting strategies ha ha ha…it was like a meeting of old friends. Oya na, the game show was first a series of questions I think about 7 questions, I failed 2 (hides face)…Those two questions were 1. What State Was Your Fiance Born In? Wetin pain me pass was that I wrote PHC then crossed it off and wrote Lagos…only to find out the real answer was PHC!

The 2nd question I got wrong was “If Your Fiance were to describe you with a Destiny’s Child Song would it be Bootylicious? Dangerously In Love? Happy Face? Survivor? Independent Woman? I picked Independent Woman and thats only because it was something we’ve discussed before. LOL. Because of this we were in a tie with 2 other couples so the guys were asked to do a carrot dangling game and Yomi won that! I was jumping like ogoro in excitement!

At the end there were 3 couples left and we were in a tie so the grooms were asked to sit and the ladies were blindfolded and asked to feel the faces of 4 men and pick who our boo was…that was easy for all of us. The final question was: What Is her Favourite Colour ?and Bobo wrote pink!

The other couples didn’t get theirs right. OMG in that moment we realised we won the competition! It was like a dream you guys…don’t worry, you’ll see it on TV and on blogs soon! Even me sef wan watch. I am still speechless and we have to thank you all for voting, without your votes we wouldn’t have been able to get to the gameshow! I also want to thank the organisers of this dream wedding and my fellow contestants!

So Bobo and I win a 15 Million Naira Wedding! Cakes By Tosan, Makeup By BMPRO, Dress by Mai Atafo… honey moon in Dubai!!! Yeeeeee….my head oh! *skelewu Bobo re-proposed on stage…he he he and he has been dancing one kind of strange dance wey I never see before. So, so, so, grateful to God. March has been a good month for us, Bobo proposed in March 2012, we did our introduction in March 2013 and now this in March 2014!

Do you know this is my 4th year blogging? April is my blog month, my first post was on the 2nd of April 2010 : we need to pop champagne! This morning I received fantastic news that I won the Tecno SMARTest Blog Contest!!! This 100 days fasting na for me oh, I need to go to RCCG to testify! I am soooooooooooooooooooo ecstatic!!! God is good! I’m walking on sunshine!
