REVIEW: LET’S TALK ABOUT THE TECNO M7 ! #SMARTestBlog

Hi Darlings! How are you? The great thing about being a winner in the recently concluded Nigerian Blog Awards means that I was one of the bloggers chosen to participate in the Tecno SMARTest Blog Competition! Whoop whoop! I received the Techno M7 which I have been maximizing to it’s full potential, this is why I need to share my review with you! I have never used an android phone ever but I have been hearing great things about it…with this phone I feel like I was exposed to a world of possibilities. The Tecno M7 operates on a Android4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS with 1.3GHz dual-core processor. For connectivity it has WiFi (WLAN), Bluetooth, 5 pin USB Port and a pair of 3.5 mm earphones. You get loads for storage: ROM : 4GB: RAM: 1GB and microSD as much as 32GB! The battery life is pretty solid with a capacity of 1400mAh, talk time of about 6Hrs and a standby time of 220Hrs.

With the Tecno M7 you also get a calculator, Alarm, Calendar, Memo, Clock, E-book reader, and built in games (gameloft) of course you can download more from the PLAY store! For multimedia, the Video format: MP4/WEBM/AVI/SGP/MKV, Audio format is in WAV/MP3/MIDI/AAC/APE/MP2/AMR/FLAC/OGG, Ringtone Format: MIDI/MP3 and image format: BMP/JPG/GIF/PNG

I have to mention that I was elated that it uses a normal sim, so I didn’t have to cut my sim to use this phone…So Sisi Yemmie what have you been using it for? As a blogger you know I have to be all around social media, updating on the go, the Tecno M7 comes with loads of apps: over 500, 000 apps in the PLAY Store, I was downloading every app like a kid in a toy store! I downloaded the BBM, Zuma, Instagram, Pinterest, Blogger, Skype, Gidilounge Player, Tunein Radio, Temple Run, Ayo Game…should I go on? Naija Living is not easy and I always keep one orange torch around me for when NEPA/PHCN strikes but lately I have abandoned the torch because the Tecno M7 has a bright flashlight, you might think this does not matter but it is extremely important to me! Ha ha ha

What’s more? It has built in FM Radio! I only listen to the radio when I’m driving to and from work, things

have changed, now I continue listening to my favorite shows like Sharing Life Issues …This is a very big deal for me, I’ve never used a phone with FM Radio that didn’t require internet data. I can even RECORD the radio program I’m listening to!

Are Nigerian’s the only ones that go about with 2, some times 3 to 4 phones? I think so and it’s because the networks can be quite unreliable. I go about with two phones and it is always stressful…but with the Tecno M7’s dual sim carriage…life is definitely easier!

Relationships are important to me and most of my friends, family are distant from me, this is why I enjoy the video calling features of this phone! Its a much more enjoyable experience when I can see the face of the person I’m speaking to. #TeamLongDistance

The only drawback is that I can’t view YouTube videos in high resolution…but with the retail price of about 27000 naira? I cannot complain! It is functional, Affordable and Practical. Do you use a Tecno phone? Let me know what you make of it!
