Friday – I was supposed to attend a Christmas party but I swerved it because nobody
wanted to follow me there and I wasn’t in the mood to go alone. However, we (Miss Chic, Trace, Bobo and I) decided to go see a movie, we did tubu tubu and it landed on BLACK NATIVITY. I
don’t know what kind of movie we thought it was going to be but we burst out
laughing when the characters started to sing, as if na GLEE! We weren’t the only ones laughing.

Our laughter vexed
one bros in front and the guy turned around to us asking “really?” “You’re
making noise”
, we confuse. Next thing the guy said, “lets take it outside, I will deal with you“, shuo,
who get time to fight with am? LOL. He kon vex some more because we talked back at him and then he went out of the cinema, I think say na AK47 this bros go
bring oh, he turned up with bouncer and said “ these are the people making
noise”
! Chei! Bouncer just sat down and did nothing! After the movie we thought bros go don set blow wait us for the gate, but he did as if he nor see us… Oh what a night!
Saturday
was packed with activities! The first place I went to was Banky and ID’s wedding! Banky is Bobo’s friend while ID is my friend. That wedding was fun especially for Bobo because he met his high school mates. There was merriment, dance and food… I tried to dodge the
food because later on that evening I was going for my sisters birthday dinner
and I didn’t want to block my belly with food. My favorite part
of the wedding was when they couple danced into the reception, Banky is
a funny dancer, one of those people that dance with hilarious facial expressions
and attitude, ID didn’t disappoint either, she was giving him back! I wish them both a fantastic,
blissful married life! What do you love about weddings?
After
the wedding I attended The Total Professional Woman Seminar in Ikoyi, I met my
new “by force” bestie, Miss WanaWana, plix, allow me to famz! She hosts Sharing Life Issues every evening on Inspiration FM 7:00-8:00 pm!  She even does spoken word poetry? Have you heard Dirty Laundry? The seminar was
inspiring and enlightening. There were woman with experiences and advice that I
will treasure! I feel motivated now!!!

From
there we proceeded to Intercontinental Hotel for their buffet, na empty
belle I carry reach there, and yes,  chop my money complete, all 8500 naira of it! Was the food nice? Could’ve been better. One thing I didn’t understand was why I would pay 8500 naira and not get free drinks, at least water! Intercontinental Hotel, make una do well oh. We raked for the manager and demanded 2 bottles of water! Bia, what is 50 bottled water that they can’t give? They sell 100 naira Eva water for 1000 naira! Okpetu! It was a time of gossip, laughter and advice for the birthday girl, or perhaps, an intervention!

Sunday:
I had a busy day, but I streamlined it to one event –The Make Up Fair Series!
It was fun, I met so many beautiful ladies, some guys were there too including
Bobo. LOL… I love these Make Up fair series because you get loads of make up at
discount prices! Who nor like that kain tin? I was smiling sheepishly as people
kept saying “
Hi Sisi Yemmie”…I was feeling shy too *batts lashes. Someone said she
didn’t realize I was as short as I was, another one asked if I carry belle. Na
wah oh. LOL

I have 2 generators and they BOTH got spoilt on Sunday night, so of course what happened in 1999
happened to me; I went to bed without light. Thank God for free breeze. I just baff with cold water, opened the window and slept! How do people that don’t have generators cope??? #NaijaLife!

Eyin temi, bawoni?
