MONDAY CHIT-CHAT: RIWOSTIC, CHRISTMAS, BOGOBIRI, LONDON LIFE LAGOS LIVING!

Hello my people, how are you doing??? Compliments of the season…How was your weekend? I apologize for not posting yesterday, na condition make crayfish bend… It’s almost Christmas oh, can you feel it in the air? I’m really grateful for harmattan because it means I can go to bed without PHCN/NEPA and cold breeze go blow me well. I thank God for harmattan. In this post I will be introducing my niece Riwo aka Riwostic, aka Riwo Peperempe aka Efo Riwo. My younger sister spent the week with us and I was more than glad to have her and Riwo around. Riwo is such an obedient helpful girl…she poured water all over the living room cos she wanted to clean, thank heavens I caught her just before she helped me wash my phone. So helpful! LOL. What did I do on Friday? I had to go do my hair, ehn, yes, na my Christmas hair I go do. LOL.You don do your Christmas hair? you don buy Christmas Cloth? Shoe nko?

On Saturday the first place I went to was Four Points you know some kind hunger dey wey normal serving of food nor go fit quench, so I had to go there to fill my belly before I start my waka, the food was lovely and I will be doing my review on it shortly, in the meantime you can check out my previous reviews HERE

I decided to visit Bogobiri, I have heard a lot about that place, it was nice to see all sorts of art displayed, I will be uploading a detailed post about my visit shortly. Loved it! Have you been there?

On Saturday I went to see the stage play London Life Lagos Living adapted from Bobo Omotayo’s book. It was hilarious! That was my first time watching a stage play, I honestly didn’t know what to expect but I loved it! It was the third viewing on the day and I was so surprised at the number of people that turned up! Impressed!

After the play naim I say make I go move my moto, I reach there and I noticed 2 cars parked on both sides, see how closely they even parked, how am I supposed to enter my car??? Lagos people are just one kind. Mtschew! Any way as I was driving back to the mainland, e just be like say I comot from light into darkness… the island was bubbling but mainland? Nuttin.

On Sunday I went to Church and it was beautiful, after Church I attended one owambe, Lagos people like parry. It was a traditional wedding, I loved the asoebi and I loved the eru iyawo, these things are done more creatively these days oh. The band playing was on point! I could not resist getting up from my chair and wiggling all the way to the front of the band, wetin dem nor sing? These bands are hilarious, they remixed all the current hit songs in 9ja. The bride and groom looked so happy…awwwww. Check out the small chops, no event is complete without small chops!
