MONDAY CHIT-CHAT, CHOCHOLAT ROYALE, ECLIPSE, THANKSGIVING!

Hello everyone! How are you doing? How was your weekend? What did you get up to? As for me I’m doing fine oh, trying to take life one day at a time because the huzzzle nor easy but God dey. So let me quickly give you a breakdown of my weekend…Tweet

Friday – Too much ginger dey worry me, when I got back home from work I met momsy so I was happy because I love when she’s around, so in that spirit of excitement I gingered everyone to go to CMD for some nkwobi and fish tinz… you know me na.
Saturday – I woke up with a plan to do everything I couldn’t do over the past weekends on that Saturday, I filmed a video (make-up tutorial) but it took a while because I haven’t filmed in a while so I felt like a learner… plus I got a new editing software so in fact, my brain was stressed trying to work with it, but it should turn out well… I have a surprise for you! I spent the evening with Semilore’s mommy, well, Bobo and I went over to theirs and she gave me ankara and packs of soft drinks… belated birthday pressies!

Sunday – We went to Church and some of you know that the 1st Sunday of every month is Thanksgiving Service in RCCG, I particularly enjoyed the exhortation because I could relate to it. The pastor asked if we were giving thanks or complaining? People that complain find comfort in nothing, while those who don’t complain find comfort in everything.

Complaining is a display of unbelief in God’s sovereignty, meaning you don’t trust Him to do the best. Complaining doesn’t change anything. People have problems because they complain, they don’t necessarily complain because of problems. Do you know that complaints are contagious? Have you ever been with people who complain and before you know it you join in?  Don’t indulge in it.a

After Church Bobo, Semilore’s mommy, daddy and I went to V.I to redeem our dealdey voucher for one kain buffet we signed up for oh, nor be small thing; when we got to the restaurant it was so rowdy and disorganized, the food gan don finish. LOL. Since we had been saving our bellies we quickly bought boli by the roadside before pesin go faint. That was how we began our hunt for alternative lunch, we ended up at Olobe, not too bad.  We proceeded from Olobe to Chocholat Royale, that was my first visit, everything looked so yummy, Bobo and I didn’t want to leave: we had ice cream, muffins, cakes and cookies… nom nom nom.
All from Chocholat Royale

My colleague told me this morning that I look like pesin wey just carry belle: I need to seriously stay fit and lose some weight but all these delicious food and drinks, who’s going to eat them???

How could I forget the Eclipse…did you see it? E ku eclipse oh! Hope you had a happy eclipse day? I really didn’t see the full eclipse but there were photos of it all over twitter. On our way back home I caught the sunset, it was so beautiful….
