I missed my Monday Chit-Chat yesterday because I was a bit under the weather, but now I feel better, thank you for asking, side eye! I’m still going to share with you details from my weekend. I went to WARRI! AREAAAAA!!! Tweet

Friday: Busy day at work but fun because we ordered small chops, and you know small chops make the world go round abi??? I spent the rest of the evening packing for the weekend and going to pick up my dress from the tailor. I don’t like packing because I would pack a huge box for just a weekend trip and I never know what to pack. I also realized I don’t have a “weekend bag”… ladies, you know what I mean. *wink.
Saturday: Early mo- mo we enter road to Warri… no we don’t want to enter aeroplane. This one that planes keep dropping from the sky and keep kissing each other mid-air, we might as well trek from Lagos to Warri, abeg I nor fit shout. We hired a car to take us just because we didn’t want to use our private jet, ahem, and I must say it was very smooth journey. We left Lagos 6:30 am before the environmental and before 1:00 pm we were live in Warri. The road trip was fun!
Warri has changed so much. I didn’t even have time to take pictures of the recent changes. I noticed that there are no more okadas and keke maruwa naim dem dey use, blue and white colour. Bobo and I hired one to take us around a bit, that was fun. LOL. We now have “Bus Service Terminals”… nor be small thing! Thank God for progress! Of course momsy welcomed us with Starch and Banga Soup of Life! Oh! If you haven’t tasted this delicacy you haven’t lived.…true talk. Bobo tasted the starch but still did not understand WHY OH WHY we would eat starch for meant for clothes. LOL

After Church we had lunch at Maxin Lotus, it’s this Chinese Restaurant on Warri Sapele Road, close to Enerhen Junction, yes, the famous Enerhen Junction. It was nice to see family and friends that we have not seen in a long time. There was fooooooood, fooooood and foooood. Please, I know I’ve joined team FatFam. *hides face. I’m working on getting fit.

After that lunch my Bro-In-Law took us all to this joint, for the back of one corner like that, close to AJ’s… for some point and kill…it was cruel to point and kill but so much fun to chop. LOL. Thank you to my In-Law, it was a no-dulling weekend! Short but E-P-I-C…Areaaaaaa! Do I have people who live in Warri and read my blog? Abeg, chop knuckle!
