Yes oh! We have come to the end of 2013...few hours more and we'll be shouting "Happy New Year!" Some of us don kukuma tire for 2013: abeg let it come and do and go. LOL. While others have had the best year ever in 2013! Different strokes ba? Regardless, I bet we have learned something from our experiences this year, for me it was an eye opener that's why I even uploaded this video about the LESSONS LEARNED IN 2013! A group of young Comic lovers in Nigeria called Comic Republic have come together to create a Nigerian Super hero called Guardian Prime. This hero is indestructible, strong, sexy, and full blown Nigerian.  He is a fashion designer based in VGC who transforms into a super hero to save Nigeria from calamities. The best part is he is only as strong as he thinks he is. The more faith he has, the more he can do.

Workers in a Lagos based packaging and printing company, Toppan Packaging Company Limited located on Ladipo Oluwole in Ikeja Industrial Estate could not believe what they witnessed on Friday the 13th December 2013. When the shift manager, a Lebanese; Kaveh Noine beat up the Cleaning Unit Supervisor Mrs. Alice Ossai in their presence, due to what he deemed negligence on her part, his grouse, a portion of the factory is littered with dirt and she failed in her responsibility to rein in her team to keep the factory floor spick and span. 

Frantic efforts by Ossai to explain why the portion of the factory was littered with dirt, even after she was assaulted was rebuffed by Noine who shouted her down and asked her to come with him to his office fuming with rage; exasperated staff members on duty went in with Ossai in a bid to collectively explain the supposed duty breach. Noine rained blows on Ossai and kicking her repeatedly, without sparing her tummy even though she was seven months pregnant. Like many Nigerians working under similar conditions, took everything calmly even though she complained to her close friends that she was in deep pain put up a bold face and continued with her duty, bearing the shame and physical assault in her stride all in a bid to secure her job and that of two of her siblings who also works in the company.

As a child Christmas was about what your parents, uncles, aunts, big cousins e.t.c could do for you-it was dependent on them! As an adult, you're OYO: On Your Own! Eh!!! I cannot believe I have been ignoring this movie! I went online to check out the movies showing at Silver Bird Cinemas, when I saw Lagos Cougars I just comot my face, the last nollywood movie I spent all my money on, bought popcorn 200 naira plus Fanta 600 naira each was total rubbish!!! 

Anyways, before I say anything let me tell you that I enjoyed the movie: chei the feem tuff!!! And I found it hilarious!!! Bobo doesn't agree. Uche Jombo, Monalisa Chinda and Daniella Okeka, starred in the movie, it also features some new comers as well (the male acts). I've never heard about Daniella until this movie and her body is... just so beautifully curved, but her acting was not so great. Sean Faqua was brilliant in his role, y'all should look out for him!

Okay, the movie was about three professional, single ladies probably in their forties who found their way into "cougarism", is that even a word? Anyways, for one of them (Uche) it was a decision, for the other (Daniella) it was for love and for the third (Monalisa) it was just chance. I don’t want to spoil this movie for you oh…should I? Ok, I’ll just tell you my favourite parts, there was one time Elsie (Monalisa) told Joke (Daniella) to give in to being a cougar and “Service her engine with Jite premium engine oil”….everybody burst out laughing! Jite is the name of Joke’s toyboy/employee/lover.

DONATION DRIVE FOR DECEMBER: LETS GIVE TOGETHER!

In 2012, a group of 13 young folks came together and decided to make December special for others by birthing a charity project #ProjectDDD ((Donation Drive 4 December).

Last year, we were able to reach out to two orphanages and one home for the elderly. We gathered clothes, food items, shoes and materials from our donors for the less privileged. It was such joy putting smiles on the faces of the orphans.

I love Chicken Curry Sauce, well that's what I grew up calling it. Some people call it Chicken Vegetable Gravy which I actually think is more appropriate. LOL. Why I love this gravy is because it does not take too long to cook, quickie food, it tastes absolutely delicious and it tasonson's everywhere, your neighbors will come knocking! *tasonson means aroma. You can remix it anyhow you like, you can shred your chicken, you can add potatoes and make it like porridge, or you can eat it as gravy and maybe rice/spaghetti.  This is perfect for days when you don't feel like making stew.

On Friday night I jejely went to Ikeja Shopping Mall, crazy things happen to me at that place- I think I should reduce the times I frequent there. I parked and went in to do my shopping, by the time I was ready see the queue to pay for parking at the kiosk, long from here to Kano.

Anyways, so I was trying to pull out but because Lagos drivers are so wicked nobody gave me chance, I was there for like 10 minutes trying, when I noticed these drivers nor get the fear of God, I told my cousin to biko help me come down and beg one driver so that they can just wait for 2 seconds while I pull out, somebody finally greed.

REVIEW: LEKKI CONSERVATIVE CENTER + VIDEO !

WHERE I WENT

I went to Lekki Conservative Center and I must say I was surprised to learn of such a place, I bet some people have lived all their lives in Lekki and still did not know it was there. The  Conservative Center is run by the Nigerian Conservation Foundation, this center has a huge tract of wetlands set aside for wildlife viewing. Raised walkways enable you to see monkeys, crocodiles and various bird. There is a conservation center and a library. If you're thinking of your engagement shoot, you can come here! I even heard Wizkid shot his Jaiye Jaiye video here.Tweet
