Hi people, how are you all doing? How was your weekend and the week preceding that? Hope it was ok? There was no Monday Chit-Chat last week and una nor even ask after somebody, is this friendship? I thought we were all friends…abi? Well, some of you asked after me sha…and the reason there was no post was because I couldn’t access my blog and email…it was just so annoying. Now I’m good. Don’t forget that the first to leave a comment + email address wins airtime recharge.
First things first, it’s Bobo and I’s 1 month wedding anniversary! LOL. Una nor dey celebrate dat kain thing? I know it’s only a month but I enjoy celebrating everything. Even to shit I can celebrate it, you think it’s easy? Some people dey hospital because dem never fit shit, you better be grateful you can shit. Well, this is why I am celebrating the 1 month anniversary. BECAUSE I CAN! So how did we celebrate it? By staying home being husband and wife *wiggles brows
Typically we would go out for some fun activity but we decided to do better, stay home, chop our own food doing husband and wife things. According to Frank Donga, not every time turn up, sometimes leave it there. Especially with this Ebola everywhere, abeg I can’t shout oh. I cannot sha believe we have been married 1 month!!! Thank you Jesus. I’m meant to upload our first honeymoon video this week so look out for it!
Over the weekend Bobo became an uncle, his brother’s wife had a baby, that made me an aunt again. Bobo is a first time uncle so you can imagine how excited he was, he kept looking at the photo of the baby for his family’s facial features…LOL. I remember doing that when Riwostic aka Efo Riwo was born, it pained me that she didn’t resemble me facially even though she has my kobo leg. Even when EfeGirl aka Tutusco was born I was looking for my face in her face…yet to find the resemblance. We thank God for the new bundle of joy – fine boy no craw-craw.
On Saturday Yotan and Semilore’s mommy came over and as three waffi chicks, we made Banga Soup with fresh catfish and starch! It is not a easy something. Bobo had his with Rice (he loves banga not starch)…I will soon fully convert him. The food was lovely and it finished in that moment! Loved it so much we made banga rice last night…I love banga rice: banga rice is like jollof with banga, instead of tomatoes. Recipe coming soon!

I joined in the #30DaysOfThanks , what it is you just follow the hashtag on twitter and share what you’re thankful for each day (once a day). Today I am thankful for….akpako. What is akpako? (inserts mischievous grin) It is that activity that is only approved of when you get married – knacking akpako. Yup, since it’s my anniversary I am grateful for the privilege. LOL Join me on twitter @Sisi_Yemmie for #30DaysOfThanks o/ I can’t wait to see what you’re grateful for.
Did anyone see the billboard with Bobo and I on Alfred Rewane road? We haven’t seen it yet but we’ve been sent photos… soup or stars r us!
Have a great week everyone, stay safe!
