It's a wonderful thing to see Africans all over the world doing amazing things, and I love to celebrate it! One of such people is Adaku Ufere, who is a lawyer at a pan-African law firm, managing legal teams across Africa - including Ghana, South Africa and Equatorial Guinea. Adaku has an LLB from the University of Nigeria, a BL from the Nigerian Law School and an LLM in Oil and Gas from the University of Aberdeen. She is also a member of the Nigerian Bar and the International Bar Association, and is a certified Chartered Arbitrator, as well as an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in the United Kingdom.
Her achievements don't end there though; Adaku was named one of the 40 Under 40 Leading Lawyers in Nigeria at the Nigerian Legal Awards 2016 and bagged the award for the Attorney of the Year from the African Leaders Awards in 2017! More recently, this trailblazer was named Young African Professional of the Year by the Independent Pan-African Youth Parliament in Johannesburg.
Through her Twitter page, Adaku revealed, "I also got the opportunity to present a paper on Women in Leadership which will form part of a policy document to be submitted to the African Union." Go, girl!

You'd think she couldn't be any more of your #WCE, but on the 6th of June, 2018 she was selected to be a part of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders, an initiative designed to empower impactful Africans all over the continent, through academic coursework, leadership training and networking.
What's not to love?! Here's to more women, like Adaku Ufere, shattering glass ceilings, one stone at a time!
