A few days ago I got an email to have a business meeting with Uche Pedro of BellaNaija, I was excited because I have followed her before Bellanaija was a Website (I admire her!) and wondering what this business meeting was going to be about. It was to be my first time meeting her and I was prepared that day to talk business!

Earlier in the day my palms were itching and subconsciously it clocked as "money is coming" and then I asked myself, "Says who?" I began to wonder where this kind of ideas came from and why we believe them so much. Do superstitions work for you? If your palms are itching do you really get money? While doing my makeup, from the corner of my eye I see our pet Wall Gecko scuttling around and I am tempted to just fling the thing but then I remember that they are called "omo onile" meaning "child of the house" and if you kill them, the house would collapse. LOL. These are superstitions, some people say they work and others do not believe. Lets talk about 10 Nigerian superstitions and if they work or not!

WHAT I DID TO LOSE MOST OF MY BELLY FAT

In the photo on the left, I was NOT pregnant, just bloated and belly fat. That was in November 2017, only a month ago. I have been asked many times what I did to get rid of my big belly considering I do not do any exercise, I have never been to the Gym in my life (but I'd like to start this year sha). Belly fat is very stubborn! You can lose weight all over and still be looking like a pregnant woman. I had my baby through Caesarean Section (2015) so I was always paranoid about doing belly exercise, I don't want to rupture anything but I have had plenty of time to heal so I'm fine now abi? So how did I lose the belly fat without exercising?

HOW TO CREATE A VISION BOARD AND MAKE IT WORK!

Happy New Year ! I feel the perfect way to start the year is to have a vision of what you want to achieve for 2018 and then spend the rest of the year trying to meet your goal. I did that last year and I am glad I did. I told myself I would put my ALL into my YouTube Channel to get to 100,000 SUBSCRIBERS and if at the end of the year it didn't work out then perhaps this is not my path? So I spent 2017 working hard on my channel, I was so focused that my blog suffered, I know. However, I am glad, because I achieved what I wanted and this year I am so motivated to start afresh with a new vision. 

100,000 SUBSCRIBERS ON SISIYEMMIETV!

This is a BIG WIN for me! I created my YouTube Channel in 2011 and I never thought I would reach a 100,000 subscribers. Till last year. I attended the YouTube Subsaharan Awards late 2016 and I didn't even have up to 50,000 subscribers so I challenged myself that I was going to get that YouTube Silver Play Button to my house! I even planned the colour of our asoebi LOL. We couldn't decide between Pale pink and MTN Yellow, so we agreed to colour block. By "WE" I mean, the shareholders of my Channel (the audience).
