VIDEO CONFESSION : "KIDNAPPING IS OUR FAMILY BUSINESS"

I was watching this video and what caught my attention is the correct English this woman was speaking...she's had an education but this kidnapping is what her and her family do as per "Family business things"...

Somewhere at the back of my mind I couldn't help but wonder if she would do it if she had a good job (Unemployment is one of the biggest issues we have in this country) but like I heard somewhere "thief na thief, pesin wey go rob ,go rob" meaning someone who does not have thievery in the blood will not do it no matter the circumstances.

Anyways, watch her video confession. For some reason I found it enlightening and mind provoking. Just incase you didn't know, this is the woman that kidnapped the 3 Orekoya children. Thank God they have been found.

  1. Na wa oooo. I was just dumbfounded. This is a big lesson to everyone, civilization and society orderliness like wat's found in the West do not change selfish and evil genes in some people.

You employ someone for olx and the person move to ur house the second day. Aba! Evil people have being existing since the creation of the world, they will still exist till the world ends. Happy that the boys were found.

  5. For someone to go all the way to OLX, the person must be educated o. I am not surprised that its a family business, cos one person cannot organise kidnapping. It's usually a syndicate of family members or trusted friends.

  6. Wow, the world is turning into something else these days. This is why people really need to be careful about people they hire to work in their house, especially near children. The woman seems remorseful, why did she do it though?

  9. I have no sympathy whatsoever for her. This is not about poverty or unemployment but wickedness. Hope she'll be given the maximum sentence to teach others like her a lesson.
There is also a big lesson in all this for we parents too. We should learn to place our priorities right. The care of our children should not be left in the hands of total strangers.
I'm happy for their parents but those boys needn't have been put through that traumatic experience sha. Hope they have the opportunity of seeing counsellors.

  10. What I couldn't believe was that the mother and father could leave their kids with a total stranger on the first abi second day of duty...and leave them for the whole day! Seriously? I'm glad a lesson was learnt by all in this; I for one am now wary of 'nannies'. Shebi if we were in a more civilized world, we wouldn't be hiring strangers to come and live with us, people that we don't know from anywhere. It's quite annoying really that we're in this situation. As long as there's a God and willing people with good hearts, Nigeria will change for the better, even though it wont be in my lifetime. For that kind of change we want that Nigeria will be like 'America' or 'London', na some 50-100 years work be dat. Anyway, thank God for social media as well.
