Forgive me…I have been very lazy lately. Do you have one of
those days when you don’t want to do anything? You stay in bed till hunger waya
you. You refuse to take your bath all day (stinky lady) and then you just walk
around your house looking for nothing in particular…. You turn on the TV and
everything seems boring… what do you do to make yourself feel better on days
like that?
On a lighter note- election don over abi? Now we can hear
word, business can commence. Do you know how many people market nor sell
because of these elections? A lot of businesses kept waiting till “after
election”…finally here we are. Are you
excited about the results? I’m happy Ambode won for Lagos. because:
- His campaign song was very catchy-I need it as my ring tone
- He’s such a poser-even in my dreams I see his pictures. I wonder how many photos he took for this campaign
- Seriously, Lagos needs continuity not change which is what his campaign was about.
- Daaaazaaaal!!!
Last week I tweeted about my love for boiled yam, palm oil
and salt and then some people said they have not heard of that combination at
all. Seriously? I was shocked! All these aje butter children… If you are
reading my blog and you have not tried it, quickly go and find yam (the strong
white type), pour palm oil and add salt…bliss!
Speaking of food…yesterday my darling Simi came over to mine
with a picnic basket of Rice, stew,
turkey, moin-moin inside leaf, wine, and
COLDSTONE ICECREAM. If I loved her 100% before, I love her 150% now. Those are
the kind of friends we need in our lives-friends that cook for us and buy us
ice cream. I was too hungry to be taking any picture before eating oh jare. Thank you Simbabe
Few changes coming to my blog soon- I can’t wait to share them with you but for now just manage. Did you see the giveaway on my blog last week? It will end this Friday so make sure you check it out. There’s no too much senrenren to win, just a simple question. Ok?
Look out for this weeks posts! Mwaaaaah!

Ambooo ambo. I keep singing it and I'm not even from lagos! That campaign song rubbed off on us in Abuja.
ReplyDeleteDays like this can equally drag no be small!!! An interesting movie sometimes helps.
ReplyDeleteWhat? Someone on this planet has never heard of boiled yam salt and red oil? Are you gaming me? You sef miss one solid mix..... Blended pepper. Mix what you can handle with salt in the oil and you are cycling mid air like those kids in ET
ReplyDeleteSo who is forming they haven't had yam n palmoil. I spice the palmoil with onions in a ring form, pepper n salt then the white yam, this combination can go down well with palmwine. My grand mother when she still had her sight use to make this for me whenever I visit her back in my home town *God bless her much
