My fellow Nigerians, *clears throat*...happy 53rd Independence Celebration!!! Whoop whoop! Oh, you think there's nothing to be happy about? There is. We are still alive, it's not because we're beautiful or intelligent or nice that we've not been killed by either Assasins, Armed Robbers, Stray Bullet, Plane Crash, Boko Haram, Poisoned Kpomo e. t. c
We all have to thank God regardless. It is a shame what is happening in our dear country, I love Nigeria so much, I wish everything would just be okay...if wishes were horses...
I went on the streets of Lagos and I met my fellow countrymen/women/boys/girls and they were willing to share with us their opinion. We all love 9ja (food, women, men, languages, cultures, sense of humour) we definitely don't like some things (no electricity, unemployment, corruption, terrorism) and we all have different suggestions on how to improve the nation. Let us go further by taking action; change starts with you and I. I would be jollified if you share this video, yes, I just coined the word "jollified".
How are you celebrating today? Be safe!
So this is the project. Well done. I like it.
ReplyDeleteWell done hun! I love that you used the ordinary people on the street, (Hope that didn't come out wrong?) But I mean normal everyday people on the streets :).
ReplyDeleteSo many things are wrong in Nig, But I love and celebrate Naija food, music, culture and people!!!
