When I heard about it, I pitied her parents. What will her mother feel like.
Unfortunately, we (Africans) always try to out-do westerners in copying bad things.
The only difference between what she did and what people have been doing since the dawn of time is that now people have proof that it happened. Do i agree with it...nope because people are judgmental and she now will forever bear the scarlet letter AND because some things are meant to be private. But honestly, it's sex and they are human beings with feelings. The bible doesn't say we should turn a blind eye to peoples indiscretions but it does say judge not lest ye be judged (hopefully ya'll know the rest). I can assure you a good number of all the people (not necessarily just the ppl here) pointing fingers and calling names have done equal if not worse things. And if we are going to judge, at least judge both parties equally. (and i have no desire to hear the bs of the "(african) man mentality of only women can be considered hoes for being promiscuous")

Hmmm, i actually wasn't going to respond but since "Concerned African" and "Anonymous" (whom im assuming are probably the same person since they wrote the exact same thing) can't seem to keep my name out of their mouth nor can they comprehend what i wrote i will reiterate my point. Had you actually read what i wrote, you would have seen that i said i do not agree with what she did, but at the same time it is not my place (or anyone's place in my opinion)to judge her, call her names, whatever...especially if we are not willing to do the same for the guy involved. I have not judged her or anyone else here for that matter. Wetin concern me with this girl? I don't know her nor have i ever even seen any episode of this show. If my brother wanted to marry her, God bless him and their union. That is not my business.

ReplyDelete*sigh* Two people had sex. People need to get over it! It's a shame it had to be recorded on TV as it's an intimate act between two people but if two consenting adults (with particular attention to "consenting" and "adults" ) choose to do that on TV then that's their choice. Sex is fun and essential! (Also, isn't it wierd that the two comments condemning the strong female points of biews (Chic and Ngo) are "annonymous".... If you believe in something, have to guts to identify yourself with it....
